This Chianti Classico 2020 is distinguished by its well-defined style and brilliant ruby-red color. Vinification and Aging :

The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Vigneti La Selvanella vineyard in Radda in Chianti, located at an altitude of 330 to 600 metres above sea level. The soil varies from macigno sandstone at the higher altitudes to the rare Sillano and Pietraforte formations, unique to this area. The vines are trained using the Cordon Spur system, and the harvest took place between September 21st and 28th.

The wine undergoes a meticulous aging process, spending three years in 120-hl oak barrels crafted from a special selection of woods designed to release aromatic precursors. The 6-cm thick oak staves are carefully blended to achieve the perfect balance for this Reserve wine. After barrel aging, the wine is further refined with one year of bottle aging.
