Tasting Notes
The wines of Château Lamothe-Cissac have a beautiful deep ruby color in their youth. On aeration, we find a wide aromatic palette combining notes of red fruits (blackcurrant), cooked fruits and sweet spices. The vanilla aromas are very well integrated. On the palate, the balanced whole, the supple and numerous tannins give way to a very delicate finish. With a good aptitude for ageing, this wine expresses over the years notes of leather, undergrowth and complex smoke. To be discovered!

Vinification and Aging
The harvest is 100% destemmed. Modern vat adapted to the vinification of red wines from our region. 2 to 3 daily pump-overs during the vinification process contribute to the monitoring of the fermentations. Long maceration periods of 4 to 6 weeks. Micro-oxygenation carried out in the vat allows to reinforce the tannic structure and the coloring intensity of the wines.
Aging in oak barrels for about 12 months. In order to clarify the wines and to bring them the necessary oxygenation for their maturation, rackings are planned according to the tastings made by the technical team.
